American Celebration! Bowling Green Area Community Bands In Concert

The Bowling Green Area Community Bands present an American Celebration concert on Sunday, March 19, 2023. The concert is free and doors open at 3:30 p.m. The concert begins at 4 p.m. Under the baton of Catherine P. Lewis, the concert band, with guest vocalists Richard Lewis and Anna Singer will perform “American Fanfare”; “Gettysburg: The Third Day” (a tone poem describing the battle); “Bewitched by Love”, which was especially arranged for this concert by Joel Miller; “You’ll Never Walk Alone”; R“The Nine” (written in honor of the Little Rock Central Nine); Irving berlin’s “America”; and Henry Fillmore’s “Go Galop”. BiG Band BG, led by Rob Cintron and Brian Bushong with vocalist Elizabeth Green, will perform “Route 66,”; “Slane,”; and “Stairway to the Stars,”.
